What is the mobile app?
The mobile app is the client application that enables you to login to VuCall business quality video conferencing from your iPad 2, iPhone 4 or iPod touch. This gives you even greater flexibility and mobility to make video calls and join meetings from anywhere with Wi-Fi.
The app, called VidyoMobile, is available free of charge from the Apple App Store.
Where can I get the mobile app?
The mobile app is called VidyoMobile and is available free of charge from the Apple App Store. You will need to have set up your Apple ID and password. Click the App Store application icon on your iPad 2, iPhone 4 or iPod touch and select the Business category. Navigate to the VidyoMobile icon and click the button to install the app.
If you do not already have a VuCall account please use the Contact Form to request a trial account.
Please note that the mobile app is not for use on Apple desktop and laptop computers. For these you need the Desktop client application that will download automatically when you login to the VuCall portal.

How do I use the mobile app?
To use the mobile app with VuCall you will need to have accounts set up on the VuCall video calls and meetings service for yourself and you business colleagues. If you do not already have these please use the Contact Form from the link in the left margin or click here.
If you are already a VuCall user you will find the mobile app is very similar to the desktop version of VuCall.
If you have not used VuCall before, don't worry, it is very easy to use.
- Once installed, find the Vidyo App on your device and touch the icon to start
- On start up you will see a login screen
- If you already have a VuCall Account, enter your portal url, username and password into the login screen
- If you do not have an account, contact VuCall to set up trial accounts for you and your business associates
- Use the Rooms icon to connect to Room Systems (if any) within your organization
- Use the Contacts icon to find and connect to other contacts within your organization or other contacts within your set of trial accounts
- Use the Search icon to find and connect with Contacts or Room Systems by name
- Use the Settings icon to set the personal settings for the VidyoMobile app on your device

Which devices does the mobile app work on?
The mobile app is currently available for Apple iOS devices: the iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPod touch.
An app for Android mobile devices will be available soon. Please check this web site for details.
There is currently no mobile app for Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 devices.
Does it work exactly like VuCall on my desktop?
The user interface has been designed to be very similar to the desktop application. However due to processor power limitations in current mobile devices there are some differences in features:
- The maximum number of participants you can view on screen at the same time is 4
- You can view shared content from other participants in a meeting but you cannot share an application from your mobile device
